BBF PLAYERS TO FEATURE ON OUT OF THE PARK BASEBALL GAME

Players from the British Baseball Federation’s (BBF) domestic leagues will feature on Out of the Park Baseball 25 (OOTP), a baseball strategy game celebrating its 25th Anniversary edition this year.

Out of the Park Baseball 25 allows users to become the General Manager of franchises around the world, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the Korean Professional Baseball League (KBO) and the Honkbal Hoofdklasse League from the Netherlands.

“British baseball is making its mark on the world stage thanks to the interest caused by the performances of the GB Baseball team at the World Baseball Classic and at the 2023 European Championships and this partnership with OOTP will have a positive impact on the domestic game,” said BBF President Chris Deacon.

The three year agreement between the BBF and OOTP is a key step in spreading the word about British baseball.

Players will have the opportunity to opt-in to the game during registration for the 2024 season if they so wish.

"We are thrilled to partner with the BBF this season and beyond," said Markus Heinsohn, the current and longtime leader of the Out of the Park Developments team. "We believe our fans will be delighted to experience the BBF for the first time this season, and we look forward to a bright future together."

Out of the Park was launched in 1999 and allows game players to assemble and manage their favourite players from the front office and the dugout and compete against other players across the globe.
