On 20th April 2024, Galvin faced off against an All-Star team from the Netherlands. He struck out six NL Angels over his four innings pitched, and the London Archers claimed a resounding 14-0 victory.

In addition to his perfect game, Galvin also batted .423 in the five games he played.

“This performance is the result of all the hard work he and his talented teammates put in during the off-season under the guidance of a dedicated group of volunteer coaches,” said proud father Richard Galvin. "Throwing a perfect game is one of the hardest things to do in sports, and I know Oliver, his teammates, and the rest of his family will cherish this accomplishment for a long time.”

“I am very happy for Oliver,” said London Archers Coach Scott Bourgeois. “He worked hard in the off-season and put together an exceptional pitching performance with a nearly 72% strike rate. A perfect game, a rare occurrence in baseball, requires the whole team to be at their best. It's a testament to the collective effort of the London Archers”.

The SUMA Pony League Tournament is one of Europe's top baseball competitions, with over 45 teams from 15 European countries represented.

The London Archers represent the UK in both the U14 and U16 categories, with the winners of each earning the right to go to the United States for World Series competitions. The London Archers have won the U14 competition twice in their history (2019 and 2022).
